Meet Good Times Electric 26+ years of licensed electrical experience

Who we are

Good Times Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor based in San Antonio, Texas, owned and run by Jimmy. He and the Good Times Electric team have delivered residential and commercial electrical work across Bexar County and the surrounding Hill Country: panel upgrades, EV charger installations, repairs, lighting, surge protection, and the emergency calls that don't keep business hours.

The name isn't an accident. Electrical problems are stressful; the job is to get you back to the good times as quickly and safely as possible, at a price you knew before we started.

Licensed and insured, and you can check

We hold Texas Electrical Contractor License TECL 39574, issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. You don't have to take our word for it:verify it on the TDLR license search any time. We are fully insured, and Good Times Electric is BBB Accredited.

How we work

• Permits pulled, work inspected. Every job that requires a permit gets one, and is inspected through the City of San Antonio. That protects your home and your insurance.
• Code-compliant, every time. Our work meets or exceeds the National Electrical Code (NEC), and our electricians train on the current standards.
• Upfront pricing. You get the price before the work starts, with no surprise bills.
• Same-day service. For most repairs and installations across San Antonio, we can be there the same day you call.
• 24/7 emergency response. Burning smell, sparking outlet, dead panel: call 210-760-6407 at any hour and a real person answers. No voicemail.
