What we do
Light commercial electrical work
Lighting retrofits
Retrofit kits that convert the light fixtures you already have.
Shop lights
Lighting for shops and work areas, installed and wired.
Office electrical work
Light commercial electrical work in office spaces.
Panels and service, 208 to 600 volts
Panel and service work on systems from 208 volts up to 600 volts.
EMT conduit and MC cable
Circuits run in EMT, a thin-wall metal conduit, or in MC (metal-clad) cable, the wiring methods commercial spaces commonly call for.
Underground feeders
Underground work, including pulling feeders through underground conduit.
EMT or MC cable: what's the difference?
EMT (electrical metallic tubing)
A thin-wall metal conduit. The conduit goes up first and the wire is pulled through it afterwards, so the conductors are protected inside a raceway and can be pulled out and replaced later.
MC (metal-clad) cable
A factory-made cable: insulated conductors already inside a metal armor, usually interlocked steel or aluminum. It goes in faster in many spaces because there's no separate conduit to bend and no wire to pull.
Which one your job uses
It depends on the space, how exposed the run is, and what the local code and the inspector accept. Plenty of jobs use both.
Is your project a fit?
We take on light commercial work: the jobs listed above, in shops, offices and similar spaces. Tell us about the building, its electrical service and what you need.
Permits and inspections
When the job or the city requires a permit, we pull it before the work starts and arrange the inspections the city requires during or after the work.
